Accord Mortgages - extra borrowing

I have been with them for 8 months.

Does anyone know whether this lender will make 'further advances' and if so what rates/conditions may apply?

Most mortgage lenders will make further advances and I would imagine that Accord Mortgages are the same.

Ring them and ask them if they will lend and if so, what interest rates they will charge you.

If you went through a broker to get your mrotgage from accord I would recommend going back to the broker to see what is and is not possible. no point going through the credit check and application process if its going to fail on affordability or something

Accord should agree a further advance.

They have a seperate range for Further Advances which include a 2 yr fixed at 6.39%, a 3 yr at 6.04, and a 3 year tracker at 5.74% amongst others.

All deals have minimum loan of £3000, carry an arrangement fee of £349 and have early repayment charge.

IIRC you need to have been with them for 6 months so you should be ok. Be aware that some lenders need you to have been a customer for 12 mths before they will look at additional borrowing, Accord may be one.

    Hope this helps
