Affiliate Marketing & Direct Selling

Hello,

For a while now I've wanted to make a little extra money, nothing major, even if it was £10 a week or something - would just help a bit.

I know a tiny bit about affiliate marketing. I've tried doing lots of research online but have had very mixed results.

Does anyone do this?
How successful have you been?
Which sites are best to use or to find retailers on?

I don't want to stock anything and don't have any capital to really put in to it, which is why affiliate marketing suits me.
