Morrisons shop... £120 for £18!

I don’t know if anyone can gain anything thing from this but I was impressed and inpsired so I thought I’d share..

My friend went to Morrisons this morning before work for her Christmas shop… She got £120 of groceries for £18.

I asked her to break it down how she did it.

• I had 25 £1 savings stamps which I just picked up every time my shop was quite cheap – but I only bought them when I had money off coupons. The kind where you spend £20 you get £2 off, that's when I picked them up.
• I saved £50 worth of £5 vouchers which I gained from my petrol points and my Morrisons match & more point’s card.
• I got £25 by collecting the Christmas vouchers (I had to collect one a week by spending £40 for 6 weeks).

You didn't really get £120 of groceries for £18.

You saved up money in savings stamps or Morrisons vouchers worth £102 and paid £18 for the rest.

You could just have easily spent the coupons to save on your groceries week by week.

Hi there, don't mean to sound ignorant but why would it help someone? Wouldn't you have had to saved the stamps and collected the vouchers each week to make use of this?

Well done on the savings though but not really sure how it helps anyone else when they would have had to start saving weeks ago to do this. Please don't take my post the wrong way, it isn't my intention.
