UPDATE
Just to let you all know that this issue has now, finally, been resolved by Virgin and that Chrome and Firefox both now work with the new security layers.
Personally, I received a reply to my complaint from virgin but it was pretty lame in the excuse department and managed to avoid answering my questions. I did however receive compensation, so worth the moan, just.
With reference to some of the comments above, I do get annoyed that all the literature with all these firms goes on and on about what a serious LONG TERM commitment a mortgage is, etc, yet THEY don't seem to plan or care after the first few years of a products life? Screw them.
My plan is to vote with my feet, not just from Virgin but all banks so far as is practical - I aim to pay the mortgage off asap and then they can all kiss my !!!! for 'investments' into the future......0 -
