i second the White Y fronts suggestion, DH has had the same M&s ones for years and they are in excellent condition.

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Another vote for Marks & Spencer. They do a few different styles, and they last ages. They wash and tumble dry really well.
