Using Credit Card During Process

Options
Just paid our deposit to solicitors and awaiting exchange after Christmas

Is it frowned upon by lenders if you use your Credit card for general spending and then pay it off each month during the application? I just twigged that I had set up a taxi account using credit card ages ago and now with all the extra Christmas work outings there is around £180 of cab fares. I will pay if off and extra as soon as I get paid before Christmas but panicking they may withdraw their offer if they do another credit check!

General spending within regular limits is usually said to not be a problem.

It's the taking out of new credit, or suddenly spending far more than usual, which usually has the potential to cause problems.

Thanks Yorkie. That has put my mind to rest a wee bit. I will pay it off and try and forget about!
