I'm going to try to spend less by using cash. I read a Dave Ramsey quote this week that says there's more of an emotional connection when parting with cash. I have allocated weekly budgets for 'groceries/food', 'petrol' and 'fun' and put cash into envelopes and the idea is once it's gone it's gone, and if there's any left it can either roll over into next week or go into a sealed savings pot.
Good luck all and a Happy New Year to you.:heartsmil Stay-at-home-mummy of two, pinching the pennies but loving it! :heartsmilSpreadsheeter, piggybanker, envelope-system user!
