!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lloyds "bank"

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I'm seething! Because of the absolutely dire service by Lloyds bank I decided to go back to First direct (who actually know the meaning of customer service...Lloyds have never heard of it!).
Transferred all my stuff back & away we go! Only problem was that I forgot to cancel the payment that goes from my main bank account to my direct debit account at Lloyds. Got a letter today to say that they are charging me £35 for the bounced payment!! From and to my own bank account! How ridiculous is that!
I'll phone the manager on Monday & if they wont transfer will definately claim that & the late CC fee (which was the straw that broke the Camels back!) back once the verdicts on CC fee's is known! What gits!

I dont believe it...just logged on to see if charges added and someone has been using my account. Even worse gtting to actually speak to someone to cancel all cards & payments nigh on impossible - have managed to cancel the card but if anyone has my cheque book I'm stuffed! Feel so angry/upset I can hardy type & it just confirmed that I was SOOOOO right in canceling my account! I mean what kind of bank has none you can speak to in these circumstances! Ridiculous!

Lloyds TSB customer service is ****. I had a very general query and found I couldnt even phone and ask unless I was signed up to telephone banking. When I eventually did this I couldnt understand what the lady was saying and she could not understand me. Then I had a letter to contact them as I had failed to identify myself on the phone. What **** is that?

I never did find out what an account upgrade was, yes, it was as general as that.

I think an account upgrade is when they charge you to have a monthly account (ie premium account) & you get some "perks" like their insurance but usually free is better!! Yes I do feel better Hypno - its just so ****** annoying!

Trust me Jamie they CANNOT be any worse! If they're dire first direct are fab! Despite my general loathing of banks I actually MISSED them & felt a physical sence of relief when I transferred back! Sad but true!
