I've just checked their FCA entry and I'm afraid it confirms that they are in administration.

So I presume this is the SH you referred to here --> debt Management company
How did you discover they were in admin? Who "told" you?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I was calling them about my daughters account with them, a different company picked up the phone. Said sorry no more SH. So poor daughters going to get a lot hell ontop if Xmas from owed debts bless her0

Which company answered the phone then?
Have they taken over the accounts from SH to continue running a DMP
Or are they the administrators?
Or something else?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Not if you point your daughter to Stepchange. Unlike SH and their ilk, Stepchange is charity (along with Payplan, MAOnline and National Debt Service).
They will happily set up a DMP for her. At that point, she will be happy to know that every penny she sends to them will reach her creditors rather than going in admin fees.Never Knowingly Understood.

Yes - get free impartial advice on what the best option to continue with is ASAP.
If that is a DMP, then switch to Stepchange.
I hope Spencer Hayes have been passing the money they have received to creditors. Have been several similar debt companies go under lately, and in some ones they have not been paying creditor as they should for quite some time. Hopefully that is not the case here.
If you can please post up all the info you have about what is happening to this company and your dealing with whoever it is with now, as that will undoubtedly help other customers who may only just be finding out about this and landing here from Gogle searches etc.
Thanks.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Come on Martin, cant you "pick up the baton" on this one ?
There are so many Fee taking DMC`s going bust at the moment, taking all of there clients money with them, something seriously needs to be done about the way they operate, and how they drum up business.
But most of all people need to be made aware of there sharp practices, and that there are free alternatives.
