Music Magpie - not paying for perfect discs?

Hi,
I just put an order through with Music Magpie and as expected got a pittance for most of my discs... However a couple were quite unusual and so got a good valuation (otherwise I was going to ebay them)...
However, when I finally got my confirmation of payment these discs were "conveniently" listed as damaged... So Music Magpie got them free...
I'm particularly annoyed as I know these discs were perfect.
Obviously this is fraud/theft but there's nothing I can do except warn others... Anyone else had experience of this?

There are number of posts on the forums about the website. I have used myself once and had no issues. However it doesn't mean they are perfect.
Looks like they have done this to couple of other people. You could try to complain to some trading bodies i think.ally.0 -
No 1- ask them to send you photos to prove your items are damaged. 2) Can you not ask for them back? I know Amazon trade-in will send items back that they can't accept.
Also as a note for the future, always take photos of things before you send them, so you have proof. Take photos in the cases and show how you packed them, so then there can be no quibbles. I assume they give free postage; which courier do they use? Put in a claim for damage if you think they are responsible.
Also contact your local trading standards, but I would think the first step would be to write a strongly worded letter to MM and state that you will take legal action against them to recover your losses if this matter is not resolved to your satisfaction. Usually I find that is enough to scare any company into coughing up!
