Given negative feedback - I'm gutted

I recently sold a Body Shop hand cream which was new and had not been used
It wasn't sealed when I got it from Body Shop
The Buyer sent message via EBAY saying it had been used and the day after another saying if I didn't respond he would leave negative feed back.
The thing is I WAS ON HOLIDAY WITH NO INTERNET ACCESS so by the time I saw the messages and responded it was too late and negative feedback had been left. I would have sorted it out and given refund if buyer not happy
I'm upset as I had 100% feedback

Pretty sure if a buyer has threatened a neg in messages this is grounds for getting it removed. Phone ebay and explain to customer services.0

Thank you - I might do that - it's worth a try

This isn't a valid reason to get negative feedback removed. The only reason you would get it removed is if there was some kind of extortion involved.
I'm afraid "I was on holiday and had no internet access" isn't a valid excuse here, although I feel your pain and have been in a similar situation.
Ebay say you should have timed your sales better so they wouldn't clash with your dispute windows, and also you should have communicated to your buyers that you were going on holiday but would be back on a certain date, should there be any problems.
your only option here is to appeal to the seller to remove the feedback, but again, I wouldn't hold your breath.0 -
