Can anyone else confirm or deny the above .
I'm finding the wording ringing not quite true?

A similar message has been posted on a number of review sites.

Of course that could all be the work of one person. ;)

I've posted on several of the same threads as you re Nigel O'Hara, so you may recall that I made a genuine purchase from the company.

The website still seems to be running as normal and when I log into "my account" on the site I am definitely NOT seeing the message which was posted by toph. In fact they appear to be gearing up for Christmas as they have extended their return period until 15 January!

Website is still up and running?

I happened to call in with my MIL2B a few weeks ago when I was looking for wedding rings. Female assistant was very helpful and after giving her my budget showed me a number of rings, variety of plain silver bands and one with a small line of diamonds. It was only the second shop we tried and I had seen these reviews online already, so said I would think about it and get back to them.

The owner then appeared as we were walking out the door and after taking a look at my engagement ring, basically told the woman the choices she had made were not good enough. He then took out a completely different set of rings, all much more than I was prepared to pay, and brought out 2 other staff members who all fawned over these new rings.

We got the distinct impression he realised the value of my own ring and after working out who my OH's family was (they own a shop in a neighbouring town) thought we could obviously afford a few pound more.

I purchased from a local jeweller closer to me and within the budget I was prepared to pay.
