Hi thanks, yes mean stepchange, auto correct error.. I have two bank accounts now so wondered if they would make me close one. It was a friend that said I had to declare that i only earn a certain amount and had to post them my bank statements each month to prove it, did seem confusing.0

No, that's not right, a DMP is not a regulated agreement, you can't be forced to do anything, I think SC only look at your income once, and then at each review, certainly not monthly, you don't have to inform them of every little thing, no.

Thank you, was hoping I could save my overtime pay in one account and have basic pay paid into the other which I'd pay my DMP from, if overtime gets more regular I'd rather not have to keep upping my DMP payments0

They asked us for proof when we set up, but never since. We've been with them for almost 3 years.
We have found debt collection agencies more cooperative with the DMP than original lenders. They just seem happy to be getting any money Probably as a lot of people don't pay debt collection companies at all.0
