You can get a free copy of this by calling 020 3476 3906 - I got the offer with a Historic Scotland magazine, this has a code HS5 to quote to them.
They ask for contact details, and also ask if you would like 3 months subscription for £1 (on a Direct Debit). However, there is no pressure, I just explained that I'd like to just see one issue for nothing and that was fine.
I should get it within 2-6 weeks (at various times I was told 2-4 weeks and 3-6 weeks!), and it will be the next new issue.
Anyway, if you're interested in the topic it looks like a good 'try before you buy' offer.
