claiming tax back

Hi I work as a drivers mate for 7 years and just found out that I claim tax back for a food allowance bout 2 pound a day cause I work on the road away from my depot and have no choice than to eat out I do about 10 to 12 hours a day does anyone no who to get into tonch with as I tried phoning her no luck on hold over an hour

OP should probably read EIM66170 as well

The onus is on the employee to show that he or she has spent identifiable sums on deductible expenses.... Estimated amounts should normally be excluded from the computation and no flat-rate allowance on the lines indicated in EIM66140 should be given.
Which might be relevant depending on the OP's circumstances.0
