I currently have 2 ccjs which reach six years old in 2017 .
i have 4 old debts that become statute barred last one in june of next year.
a month ago i received a letter of claim from bryan carter solicitors a letter of claim .
havent answered the phone to them or admitted the debt.
today i got a court claim letter , and im not sure what to do ? I want to be debt free and credit worthy a.s.a.p .
i have not recieved any original paperwork or anything from bryan carter who is collecting for lloyds bank through lowell
saying that monies due from consumer credit act says something about a account reference and assigned to claiment in 2013 notice of which has been given to the defendant . i didnt maintain contractual repayment a default was served which has not been complied with .
i got divorced moved house and didnt take care of business. .
ok what can i do ?
capquest have also assigned another one of these debts to drysdon fairfax .
i just had a letter also from drysden fairfax saying they have assigned another debt to mortimer clarke (they arent handling this debt any more after i sent them the prove it letter )
so maybe i will have to do that with the other debt they are being assigned now
all three debts total 6700 which i cant afford to pay off all of them .
the ccj debt is 1400
please advise me .

Not got time to go into depth 2nite, so go to legalbeagles.info or consumeractiongroup.co.uk legal forums. They can help you defend the CCJ from Bryan CarterStill rolling rolling rolling......

If you've not admitted the debt exists then ask them to prove the debt exists....which you've already done but do it again and it should get rid of them this time if you follow it up properly.
I imagine you have no assets and there is nothing they could take to clear the CCJ debt so all you need to do is just wait the time out and it'll come off your credit history soon.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

The debt may already be statute barred, the date of default is irrelevant it is the date of your last payment.
You must deal directly with the court.
You must file a defence to the court.
A statute barred defence backed up with the defence they do not hold the correct paper work to being a claim, no signed agreement etc.I do Contracts, all day every day.0
