  • We play NEWMARKET which is I have to admit a betting game and you need two packs of cards for it. The most cuthroat games involve betting after dinner mints or their like not money as it's winner takes all when it happens. We've played it with a full range of ages from 80 years young to 6 years old at the same table and it's ALWAYS thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Look online for how to play, it's very easy and lots of fun.

LOVE Newmarket.:D It's our game of choice at Xmas and on our camping holidays.
We are looking forward to getting everyone together this Xmas and playing…all ages can play like you say, ours will be from 9 to 70 this year…and all love it.
PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.
Now to start saving...it's a whole new world!!

A simple game that causes much hilarity is the after eight game. Place an after eight mint on your forehead, and then using nothing other than your facial muscles try to manoeuvre it to your mouth.

    Who Am I?

A post-it note with a name on it stuck to each person's forehead without the individual heaving seen the name, Take it in turns to ask one question with a yes/no answer to work out the name . First person to correctly guess "their" name is the winner.
