The Pension Review - help please

Hello Worn out
I was trying to find out How the Redress calculation worked for the Pension Review Project carried out back in 2003.
My Pension Provider was offering me a Redress as I declined one in 2002 and had heard no more and they wanted to close the matter.
I was given a breakdown of the data used in the calculation and it's source. Assumptions were taken from guidelines as was the calculation. I checked all assumptions which appeared correct.
Stumbling block was the assumption I was better off being in a PPP than a COSR and a deduction to my value occurred. An assumption had been made that I was "contracted in" most of the time during 78-97 - which was incorrect. When I provided details that I was contracted out for 78-97 this information went in my favour and my value went up.
I opened another thread to find out about COD and the state pension.
Hope this helps0
