whilst sorting out paperwork in our office i came across papers stating that our company(who i have worked for 3 years for) have called in recievers.
i thought something was wrong when on tuesday 2 members were made redundant.
i quized 1 of my bosses who said" your job is safe...nothing to worry about"
dohhh now i dont think so.. any views welcomed

Your bosses may be right - perhaps they intend to put in an offer to buy the assets of the company and then keep things running but under the auspices of a new company. So your job could continue - but with the new company.
On the other hand, they may just want you to stay to keep things going for as long as possible as it would probably be more expensive to get someone else. And then the whole thing folds.
Whichever it might be, it would be sensible to make sure your CVs (plural) are up to date and get in touch with some agencies and see if there are any jobs which would be a good next move for you.0 -
I may be cynical but what would you expect your boss to say. Get the CVs up to date, get looking in the job section and "expect the worse, hope for the best".
You never know, this may turn into an opportunity.0
