buying a bed - what shops do you recommend?

We are looking buy a king size bed. Are there any good value shops we should check out?

I like Bensons and have had lovely beds from them over the years. If you can wait until January they always have good sales; which is when I bought mine!

I bought my last one from John Lewis. When I compared like-for-like they were not more expensive, and they were very helpful, both when I was chosing, and then when it was delivered. (such a contrast with Bensons, where I bought the previous one, where despite having specifically confirmed it in the shop, the delivery guys tried to tell me they could not either take it upstairs or take away the old one...)
