carpet-High traffic areas

I am looking for something to clean those high traffic areas on carpets. Mine is a cream wool carpet which is fairly clean in general except for the areas near the doors. I had the whole carpet cleaned and it didn't seem to make a difference. I have seen a few products such as Vanish Preen Foampower. Maybe there is a OS remedy out there. Any suggestions? Thanks

I think your best bet might be to buy yourself a machine and wash it once a month. Then it should not get really bad, and require lots of elbow grease or chemicals. Don't forget to rinse with plain water.

I use stardrops to clean my carpets. Spot cleaning really. I'm not sure though if you're meaning that they're just worn down with constant foot traffic. If that's the case then i don't know and quite honestly would like to know how best to bring my trodden down carpet back to life.

Are you shoes off kinda people?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

It's not really worn just grubby in doorways. We do tend to be shoes off, most of the time.
