I think you must be storing your potatoes wrong if they go off in a week as mine can last for weeks, I put them in a material bag and store in outside meter cupboard.

I do the same, they go in a material bag in a cupboard in my shed and last a good 3 weeks.

I don't buy potatoes, I grow them and they keep until the spring, then any left over get steamed then frozen. But a brilliant price whatever.

I got some of the potatoes today. The variety in my area was 'nectar' - never had them before tonight but they were beautiful. Good for boiling.

Cauliflower will be twice that price next week, English growers been harvesting their January crop all last week as the mild weather bought the crop on 4-6 weeks early.
Everything else veg wise will be just a cheap next week.
