Unwashed (dirty)potatoes will keep until the spring, but washed will go off within a week. Can always cook and freeze if you have space.
Morrisons were selling bags of dirty potatoes earlier in 2014 at this price.
I think you must be storing your potatoes wrong if they go off in a week as mine can last for weeks, I put them in a material bag and store in outside meter cupboard.Slimming World at target0 -

I don't buy potatoes, I grow them and they keep until the spring, then any left over get steamed then frozen. But a brilliant price whatever.0

Cauliflower will be twice that price next week, English growers been harvesting their January crop all last week as the mild weather bought the crop on 4-6 weeks early.
