I have an outstanding balance of £662 to Gothia ltd which I believe is for a Wonga loan I received a while back.
I cringe everytime I need to write I used one of these payday lenders !
Gothia is still on my noddle report but I recevied this email from
Wonga
"Dear Mr *******
Following our email on the 10th October 2014 confirming you as affected by the affordability issues, we are pleased to confirm that your debt with us has been cleared and your balance has been set to zero.
We are working with the relevant credit reference agencies to remove records relating to your loan from your credit profile. We are nearing completion on this and we will email you again to confirm when this has been done for you."
Am I right in thinking I no longer need to repay this £662?
