Mortgage advice - Need options

Hi
I have a friend whos mortgage needs to be payed in full in 2016.
She is about 60 and is worried about having to sell the house to pay the mortgage company.
She is keeping up with payments and its an interest only mortgage but she never took anything along side it to actually pay it off one day.
What are her options ? Any advice would be appreciated

Much depends on her personal financial circumstances. Reducing the debt as much as possible has to be a priority. Selling and down sizing may well be the only option in the longer term.0
