An early Happy New Year to you all
We are going out to friends of DH's He went to primary school with him and they have kept up over the years :j
I need a quick nap before we go,so hope you all have a fantastic time.
Thanks for all the glitches in 2014 and my friends say thank you too. I know its not really money saving to give away but it makes lots of people happy and there is always the next one for me to chase
Enjoy. See you next year0 -
My exciting news I want to share :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
We set off at about 11.15 this morning down our magnificent M6 and M5 and along some convoluted way through the Cotswolds and into Oxon (back through Cheltenham, that was grim) to collect our eldest son who flew into Brize Norton
- 265 mile round trip for us, finally getting home about 18.30.
He flew back from Akrotiri this morning, 5 hour flight. He has been stationed abroad for over 3 years including 6 months black tour in Kabul over last winter. This is one of the longest times he has not been home on leave, not seen him since July.
His next posting is back in the UK only about an hour and a half from us, office hours so he will be forever shuttling back and forth, getting in our hair and under our feet - that is if he does not get another tour which might happen sooner rather than later.
so we have eldest son home for the next 3 weeks on leave (youngest home for a few more days yet) and another Christmas dinner to do tomorrow if we can find a turkey
Meanwhile the lads have gone to spa for beer and Dominoes to get the pizza :T
Wonderful news.

Half price monster high dolls, Minecraft book, Minecraft animals and Minecraft for the PS3.
We've all been smart and decided to delay buying her a bike until tomorrow and hope to get a good deal on one. Going to go to toys r us and decathlon.
She wants a takeaway kfc for dinner and we can go out for a nice meal tomorrow after bike shopping and bowling.
I bought my dad a bottle of whisky :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
