My exciting news I want to share :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

We set off at about 11.15 this morning down our magnificent M6 and M5 and along some convoluted way through the Cotswolds and into Oxon (back through Cheltenham, that was grim) to collect our eldest son who flew into Brize Norton
    - 265 mile round trip for us, finally getting home about 18.30.

He flew back from Akrotiri this morning, 5 hour flight. He has been stationed abroad for over 3 years including 6 months black tour in Kabul over last winter. This is one of the longest times he has not been home on leave, not seen him since July.

His next posting is back in the UK only about an hour and a half from us, office hours so he will be forever shuttling back and forth, getting in our hair and under our feet - that is if he does not get another tour which might happen sooner rather than later.

so we have eldest son home for the next 3 weeks on leave (youngest home for a few more days yet) and another Christmas dinner to do tomorrow if we can find a turkey :)
Meanwhile the lads have gone to spa for beer and Dominoes to get the pizza :T

Feeling little bit excited here. Got a womble for APG 1.50 :j
    A vs M

9 items (7 different) on your bill qualify for comparison ASDA Morrisons
    +£0.09

    1 x ASDA Chosen by You Banana Flavoured Milk (330ml) £0.60 £0.59
1 x Hipp Organic Star Pasta with Sweet Squash & Chicke... £0.95 £0.87
    1 x Heinz Mum's Own Pasta Bake with Tuna 7mth+ (200g) £0.79 £0.79
    1 x Heinz Mum's Own Lamb & Winter Veggies 7mth+ (200g) £0.79 £0.79
    3 x Heinz Mum's Own Creamy Vegetable Medley 7mth+ (200... £2.55 N/A
    1 x Heinz Mum's Own Hearty Beef Casserole 7mth+ (200g) £0.85 N/A
1 x Aptamil Growing Up Milk Ready Made for Toddlers 1y... £0.65 £0.65
    1 x ASDA Little Angels Comfort Dry Nappies - Size 5+ J... £5.97 N/A
    1 x For Goodness Shakes! Milk Shoot for Active Kids - ... £1.30 N/A
    2 x Cow & Gate Grandma's Sunday Lunch 7mth+ (200g) £1.58 £1.58
    2 x Cow & Gate Baby Balance Chicken Pasta with Sweet V... £1.58 £1.58

Comparison total (compared products only) £6.94 £6.85

Says on the receipt Baby food 12 for £5 but the separate prices seem to be showing on the APG. Does this mean anything to those that seem to be able to work these things out :o

Maybe a trigger on there? Still cheaper to buy 12 of the same (or 11 of same and one of another). I think :o

Mine took over 24 hours too. Collected at 9am yesterday, and didn't show collected until after 11am this morning. Not sure where your shopping comes from, mine comes from a DC/hub and apparently the DCs were having technical problems yesterday so orders weren't showing collected as quickly as usual.

it's an ex Netto....and it's still on it's way now apparently

It's about the time of year we start to reminisce about glitches gone by and what was our best/ favourite!

for me it was the £1.32 finest meal deal misprice back in June!!

even if you threw the food away (which I didn't of course);) a bottle of finest wine at that price couldn't be sniffed at!!:D

shame my local run out :(
