Why not a first thing collection?

    Hi Classy,

I know some love cooking it in coke but I'm not a fan.....however a little sweetness helps.

I would start it off on high for an hour and then turn it down and leave in for the rest of the day. Personally I would put a bit of a glaze over it.....mix a little brown sugar with ketchup or brown sauce and a tiny bit of water or coke in the bottom of the slow pot.
Resist looking in or you will slow down the cooking time.

Drove through yours earlier ;) can not believe how many take aways in the lane do none of them have a cooker

I cooked a gammon once (cue mist) I'm sure the bunch of FB friends that saw me through it haven't forgotten :D :rotfl::rotfl:
I followed Nigellas gammon in coke recipe to the letter and sat cross legged on the floor in front of the oven so the honey and mustard glaze didn't burn :D
Then I sat at the dinner table watching all the furtive faces daring each other to take the first bite :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
