Well we ventured out - youngest son went to see his mate in Chester, my shopping mojo has gone and I could not face primark:D

But we went to Morribobs to get a few match points added, 1600, and I did a quick circuit of the store, spotted he Garnier with bonus points but it finishes today

Then OH wanted petrol so we went to the petrol station and the points I'd just added had already updated on my match and more card and I got two £5 vouchers from the till spit machine :j

Fingers crossed something useful in the next crop of bonus point items

Two rat traps and two mouse traps bought and loaded with chunky peanut butter placed in garage.
    Tick tock

they only need a hole the width of a pencil to get in
Apparently people are plagued with rats in London just walking in through the back door left open

also went to sainsbobs mostly as its the only place around here that you can recycle plastic bottles

as you go through the tills the entire length of the shop - massive place the size of an aircraft hanger, they have umpteen boxes of wrapping paper along the windows, all versions - £3, £2 and £1.50 - only half price - - seriously - other places are down to 49p a roll.

You can also cash them out as rsh e-vouchers valid until 2020

I cashed out the rest of my balance as RSH credit but don't know if I'll ever use it (even by 2020!)
We only tended to use it on a visit up the road (JL free cake and coffee) but the £1 booking fee means I probably won't bother anymore (the journey itself usually costs about £6 in RSH credit).
I ordered the Beatles and the Who notebooks as pressies for next Christmas :j

Just got T delivery. The £3 off £12 worked on just one pack of dairylea :)

Son reached Edinburgh ok this morning. Looks like the buses did better than the trains

Yes OH said that nothing seemed to be going south from Crewe into Euston - might get as far as Farringdon which apparently is mostly just a market town station

He also said that they were putting people on rail replacement buses from Birmingham to Crewe which took 3 hours  - stopping at all places en route - even on a bad M6 day this is only an hours trip.
Also the rail replacement bus from Hereford to crewe was taking 4 HOURS  - honestly you could fly to Europe faster

I did a few of these on various Amex and none are showing yet (and no confirmation emails from the loaded ones either). Meanwhile Arg0s all present and correct on the main "loaded" cards and on the 4sq supplementary cards.

I contacted Amex and they added the £5 credit within 48 hours. I hadn't had any email notification so was a bit concerned.

    Same as that!:D

Bought 2 x£25 gift card on xmas eve...£25 credit showing on account boxing day!!

    Free money!!;)

I just checked mine, bought two £25 marks gift cards on the 16th and the £25 was credited on the 18th :j just before settlement day so the amount is on the current bill - paper version has arrived but not looked at yet, only 4 transactions anyway.

so there is only the shop local £5 to be credited now :j
