Thanks FC - I usually do ask for stuff in writing but it didn't accur to me that there would be any dispute over this. she was very insistent about the gift card value and, foolishly, I assumed she was reading it out from a crib sheet. I will take it further - but it could well backfire when they realise that the accounts are switching to Y & C Bank on 5 Jan ! It shouldn't make a difference but they will likely be rather less inclined to see things my way when they find that out. We shall see - ut I shan't get too worked up if it doesn't go as I would like. I'll save that ire for when/if Y & C start playing silly buddies.

I'd let it go, to be fair, you were given wrong info, you have your £100 (each) and were not entitled to the extra £25....you're probably flogging a dead horse and making a rod for your back...

prob not what you want to hear but there you go a different opinion nonetheless!

  • Does anyone know how long an emersion tank takes to heat up please.
don't usually use it but ran bath with too much cold water as was multi tasking so want to heat a tank full. Sure it is quicker than using central heating thing.

Opened a new bottle of sherry here, Mr TS finished the last one on the trifle  and DD3 finished the blooming trifle today with the homemade custard on. I had not had a single portion.

    Watching Harry Potter too. :)

These are the Cadbury fingers selection packs scanning £1 at my Ts. I found a stack of them at end of one of the aisles, no SEL or sign with price on so were loads left and they contain 3 full size packs. :T

I like it too. DD3 ended up having 3 portions.

Mr TS makes the best trifle ever from his mum's old recipe, soaking the fruit first in sugar solution but first time ever he made his own custard and I don't get to try it. :(

There is a tiny bit of custard left so that has my name on it, will probably have with a mince pie tomorrow but I am not happy. :o

Nothing like an evening watching a good film on tv. :)
  • Oh FC I hope you seen that match, that was fab thoroughly enjoyed it :T :D
