Morning all. No snow either here or Taunton, but trip is off as DH is not well enough :( He went to bed at 8:30 and is still sleeping now. Probably could do the journey, but don't want to run the risk of passing germs onto my mum, so we'll go in a couple of weeks time instead.

Disappointed to learn that I am only 49% tight! I've clearly got a lot to work on in the new year. On the other hand, I only live about 6 miles away from St Albans, so almost on the des res list.

DH has a large mug of water on his bedside table. Jasmine is currently drinking from it :rotfl:

Hmm watching dpd Paul is dangerous he is literally 5 mins from me but it states 3 hours till delivery. Wonder if he gets many customers turning up at the van to get their parcels.
  • Good Morning All

Been in reflective mood this morning as I was wielding my Halfords snow shovel to good effect..

DS1 got home eventually last night. Had to abandon his car as couldn't make the hills but walked the rest of the way safely.

I'm so thankful to have enough glitchy stocks and leftovers that I don't need to go out today and may I praise the Elite for sharing money saving/making opportunities as it makes the difference for my family between merely getting by to being able to afford treats.

Message to the Glitch Fairy - red wine stocks are running low ;-)

You might want to watch The Big Allotment challenge starting next Friday on BBC2 at 9pm.
    6 part series

It's already on series link :D there are three programmes on at the same time and I might not get to watch it straightaway :o
