Happy Boxing Day Elite
Have had a little catch up whilst resting on the sofa today. Not quite the Christmas I expected but the children are pleased with their presents
Had a crazy few shifts at work this week and overdid it on my days off getting ready for yesterday. Can't shift this bug that I've had properly either. Been a fortnight now
Had family over at our for Christmas day. Was a bit disappointed that guests only arrived an hour before dinner and then left mid afternoon! I'd got lots of food in for tea and the Christmas cake I'd put so much effort into still hasn't been cut yet
Then whilst tidying in the kitchen last night I blacked out and hit my head. There was no warning beforehand and I came around on the tiled floor. Thought I was perhaps just exhausted and as the boys were both asleep in bed, I thought i'd see how I felt this morning. Woke with a banging headache, feeling a bit spaced out and then I was sick so I rang 111 and they said I needed to go to A&E. Thankfully after a thorough check up they said it's just a bit of concussion and I probably just fainted. So napped on the sofa most of the day whilst the boys played with Daddy. Still have a sore head but feel a bit better.
Sorry to read other Elite have had a testing Christmas too. Thinking of snap and fourp and VT :A

Evening all
Oh Logie, bless youHope you're getting a chance to take it a bit easier now. Glad you went and got checked over though, hope you're on the mend very soon.
Well it's been a quiet old day for me, just what I was needing really. Can't believe this week is over though and I'm back to work tomorrow  4 shifts and then I'll be off for five days though, so not too bad. Plus OH will be off next week too....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
