Same here, so I thought I'd have a quick catch up before I finish the last few bits for our trip to the Isle of Wight tomorrow.

Lutzi's top tip for the day - when loved ones have opened their presents, quietly womble the gift tags and put them away for next year. It'll save you time, money and hassle next December. It's worked for me the last 2 Christmases, only wish I'd thought of it before:D[/QUOTE

Thought I would just pop in and wish everyone a very Happy Christmas, hope you have a good day, and for those of you missing loved ones I hope you get through the day the way you want to.

Without this thread I think I would have fallen apart more than once, it has been my saviour and my haven, so thank you to all who live on her xx

Hehe. DH just got up and asked me if I'm ok. I asked why, and he said he thought I might be a bit fragile after the fizz I quaffed yesterday while cooking Christmas dinner.:rotfl: Well it was rather moreish, and several bottles were opened and enjoyed in celebration of DS1's announcement. Enjoyed by all though, not just me:D

I wanted to help her move from the truly awful place she was renting to somewhere more fitting for her kids. She flatly refused to accept free help. She did accept an interest free loan that is paid out of her wages every month and now lives in a much nicer place. I'd be lost without her and I've also made a very good friend :A

I know it's a controversial subject but some of the people that come here really are doing so for a better life. I have mixed views on it but I wouldnt swap her for anything. She's priceless to me

It goes to show u should never judge someone, u do notbknow their life or circumstances. U sound like a very special person fairclairs & ye have are very luck to have each other 👭
