So glad you found the right path for your children LEJC. We muddled through with our older 2 in school as we were always able to sort out problems that arose but dd2 is a whole different kettle of fish and she has struggled through for 2 years but the last few months have drained her, it was soul destroying to watch. Ds2 is different again, he is being assessed for autism and the school have finally got behind us so he is getting lots of support, he loves school and thrives on being amongst lots of people. I am not against school but think it is not for every child.
For what its's worth I think you've absolutely done the right thing. School is not for everyone is spot on. I left mainstream school age 14 because it wasn't for me and I couldn't handle the pressure any more. It was a different scenario than what's happening for your daughter as bullying from the pupils was not such a big issue for me but I did feel bullied by certain teachers and I wasn't taken seriously when I told a teacher that another teacher was making innappropriate physical contact towards me :( After I was transferred to a small teaching unit I was much happier. I honestly think I would have had a mental breakdown if they'd forced me to stay there. Hope your daughter is ok xx

At least it was still diesel and not unleaded:eek:

I've just swapped from a diesel car to petrol and I have to remind myself every time I fill up!!
