Elite go to Lapland In Time for christmas Eve

-
Merry Christmas to everyone in Northern Ireland.:santa2: Sadly the rest of this post is not for you, but just to say we didn't get to Lapland after all:(, unless I missed the bus/ferry/plane:rotfl:.
No change really in M. I've added the Birds Eye 380g Steamfresh (that used to be Rice Fusions) to the M list, that have apparently gone on 2 for £2 price only now - unless neither of my stores on Monday showed the offer - but I don't expect them to work. It's around Christmas, we are assuming that they have done a price collection today (we haven't been told that they have not) and maybe, even if they have, it might not necessarily update as soon as it usually does and we know what they can be like with mbuys.
I wouldn't try them. I've also concluded that there are a range of different offers in different Ms that are running at different times just to try to confuse us:mad:. I ended up visiting four Ms - so I've done more than are checked for Mr T apparently (and they might not check again until Friday, but that might not be), although the Ms I've checked are all in one area of the country. I decided I was so near to the third store I went to, that I might as well go there and then straight to what would have been my third store but now my fourth. Although the offer on the Steamfresh is said to be until 28/12 on msm, that might not be. They were 2 for £2 in the first store and showing the 28/12 expiry. I didn't look for them in the second store, however I did see them in the third store at 2 for £2 but the offer says 1st February there. The fourth store - useless:mad: , they don't put mbuys labels up in that place - again!:mad::rotfl:.
Anyway, as mentioned above, I think they won't work off this price collection (assuming the APG collectors have done one) so I'd wait and, eventually, if that offer is on until February, they might pick up the mbuy, but I'd give them a while - and certainly into the New Year - before they might pick it up (assuming it continues into the new year - if not, I'm sure they'll be back at £1 straight somewhere at some time).
It may be good news on the McCoys 6 pack crisps (other than the fact that they are probably equivalent to a 5 pack multipack on the old weight:mad::() as they are showing on msm - irrelevantly - as on offer until 4th January and are showing the January end date in my stores.
The Cadbury Roses/ordinary Quality Street/Celebrations/Heroes boxes (I have to call them small boxes - as around 323g on the Heroes now, not 400g) are definitely NOT on £1.50. They are £3 individual and 2 for £4 in all four of my stores. I notice that the Heroes are £1.50 on m.com but that that is marked as an online exclusive. They therefore show £1.50 on msm. However, they are not that price instore and prices are collected instore for M, so they will not compare to £1.50 on the APG (unless in the infitessimal unlikelihood of them accidentally keying in £1.50 for them even though they say £3.00 and 2 for £4.00).
A few items I'm having problems with:
I cannot find any stock of Diced Swede (fresh tastes type) in any of the four Ms. I have an errant SEL in just one of the four stores, but no stock there either. As the other three Ms have removed the label and there is no stock, I think this is now not available in M. Therefore, N/A. Unless they happen to have an errant SEL in their stores, even though no stock, and happen to scan that label. It may be that they may reappear at some future point - possibly at 450g:( instead of what was 500g.
The Bean Sprouts are getting, possibly risky who knows? I have them at "Priced":( in three stores, but no stock (how helpful!:rotfl:). Fortunately the remaining store has a SEL for 49p but, there, like all the stores, I can find no stock of the product actually left. I've had this difficulty (no stock) for a couple of occasions now - although I remember last time I had problems (months before), they did still compare on the APG. So, this may be a "loose sprouts" situation again - no sprouts for me, APG still worked. On loose stuff, I've removed the loose tomatoes - they are certainly not £1.55/kg anymore but are now £1.79/kg. That's enough for me to suggest not to compare versus them from A, but instead the BPBV (non-comparable) tomatoes in M which are £1.29/kg.
I have not seen the equivalent of S/P Muesli for three weeks now, in any M store. I note there is also no price for M showing any longer on msm and, therefore, I've removed it from the list. Onto Avs T it appears (and if it happens to show a comparison vs M at £1.18 as well, I'll then reinstate it if anyone reports it to me - for now, though, based on the lack of stock in any of my Ms, over a now consistent period, I've concluded M no longer stock what was their equivalent).
I can't find any stock of the equivalent of the S/P frozen prawns in any of the stores today. I have SELs in two, but no stock in either of those either. I am concluding that this may now go N/A, a bit of a shame as it was only comparable vs M.
I can find no S/P Cheese & Onion Pasty equivalent now in M. The remaining SEL that had been in one of my stores, with no stock present, has now been removed. If that's happened nationwide, it's going to be an N/A on the APG. Remains at Avs T 30p as of today.
Finally, on the prices, the fish counters did not seem to be fully operational in my Ms today. Two were completely closed; a further was only a third put out and only one seemed to be a complete counter, though even that one didn't have any Whole Salmon on it. However, the Whole Salmon is clearly available, away from the counter, at £3.99/kg in the two main of my stores. Therefore, they should pick up the whole salmon (which is on the M list) but I bet they won't:rotfl:. Just to be aware there may be an issue on the new price collection (assuming again they've done one today) if attempting to compare versus M counter fish items.
On the fish - but frozen - apparently the 4 pack Pollock (a "buy in M") may be back on 2 for £3.50 again. Or maybe not. They have the offer showing in only one of the four stores, although it is a store which had taken the offer down earlier and does appear to have put it out again (so it may well have gone back on offer). However, I'm not sure why anyone would ever want this now as you could have had Battered Cod fillets for next to nothing in T.
That's it for the offers - you're up-to-date!
The Tilda Rices are not quite on full price as I said earlier - instead they are on 2 for £3. The APG drew that one to my attention (someone bought two) - I missed that instore(:o) but then why would I pay any attention to 2 for £3:eek: on these?(:D:j). Yes, indeed, that 'offer' is on I can see today - and I notice it is due to expire on 28th December. Next Monday is a very big price changeover, expect me to be spitting tacks again(:rotfl:) as most of the current offers are ending by then. The 50p tins I notice have now gone onto 50p "everyday price" - so, maybe, cheap Vegetable Chilli from now on - don't forget S/P Meatballs in Tomato Sauce now should be vs lower M price of 35p.
Anyway, the Tilda "offer" is due to end. Good:p. I can't wait for that to finish. They may well be going onto 79p on Monday (from 2 for £3:rotfl:), so my prediction may well come true. I notice I did 'predict' it maybe for last time, but I did also say I didn't know if most offers were expiring this week or next. It turns out it's next week (a lot indeed has expiry 28th December -for next week) so - it might well be ready to go back on proper offer just like I said! Or maybe not:o:o:o:rotfl:. But - the conditions seem right:D. Also watching for the Tango cans - they have gone down in T. Again, it just seems it might give the right amount of time for M then to change them to match that price on the shelf next week. Currently should be Mvs T. Meanwhile Mvs A, maybe Honeydew Melon £2.00 vs 87p and Savers Hair Gel (300ml) 34p vs 15p - but 'lose' 1.5p as not doing Avs T 15p - the last-mentioned item is therefore obviously also possible Mvs T.
And that may well be it from me!
Merry Christmas.:santa2:0 -

I know it's busy and I know kids can get in the way but they honestly weren't. And even if they were, a polite 'excuse me' would of remedied the situation.
