Elite go to Lapland In Time for christmas Eve

Thats very civilised:D we used to have piles as kids and wham we were in there:rotfl::rotfl:
Thats a good idea, i would do that :T:T
Every Christmas I'd come running downstairs to the big pile of presents and start unwrapping them as fast as I could. Sometimes there would be fights over who had the best toys but we would all make up later and sit down to have a three hour lunch before watching TV for the rest of the day.
I really do miss working at the Royal Mail sorting office."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

no i don't.... well nothing ds3 will likeyes they count as we take it in turns in opening a present although hubby & i have stopped opening presents long before they do :rotfl::rotfl:i know he wants minecraft for his laptop which you can only buy online so might make him a little card saying it's on his laptop?
still got to go out for ds1's game though & can't decide whether to go out tonight or in the morning
I have to make sure that everyone has roughly the same amount of items in their stockings - everything is wrapped and they have to take turns. The rules are that if you pull something out that is what you have to open, no swapping allowed.
They open these after breakfast or more like brunch as its more like 10 or 11 these days before they get out of bed :T
then there is a break in proceedings whilst the vegetables and potatoes are sorted, cats fed again, kitchen cleaned down etc.
Usually its at this point that we get the Christmas phone call from eldest son - serving abroad, this is his third Christmas away.
Then we start on the presents and again everyone takes a turn.
I have suggested to them not doing the stockings any more but that suggestion was met with a resounding NO
I also suggested opening on Christmas eve night so that presents opening would be separate to the cooking and eating on Christmas day but again a big NO
Yes I am the Christmas dictator but having said that everyone wants things exactly the same from year to year so who am I to argue. Change is coming though.
Youngest son has taken over the Christmas house decoration and eldest child wants to be in charge of the vegetables-
