    We are nearing our 28th year together (I think!) and we won't be getting married ever.. unless it was beneficial for tax purposes!

    :):T:rotfl::):T:rotfl:

    It certainly is for inheritance tax purposes, and stop depriving me of work you miserable so and so! :p:D :rotfl:

    I've just had a very quick catch up, many congratulations vouchercrazy, what a wonderful tale. All we need now is Miss Laid to sort out your catering. :T :rotfl:
    (Note to newer members, when Lady Leenie's daughter Toni got married a couple of years ago, Miss Laid used to come up with the funniest suggestions for the menu which inevitably involved glitcy/ "elite" items, and always ended her posts with "No need to thank me". 'Twas very funny). :rotfl:

    Savingbabs, so sorry to hear about your burglary, I hope you get everything sorted out quickly and can move on. Sending a hug. We popped over to Portugal recently for a short break (I got some free flights and accommodation with points, turned down the heating and brought back some cheap booze for Christmas, so very MSE) and some (insert noun of choice) broke into our car boot and stole some valuable items, so we are currently going through sorting the insurance out. It leaves a sour taste, feeling for you babe. x

    Sorry about your cat wendyak, pets are all members of our families, but I am sure you will have many happy memories to treasure. x

    And thanks to all for good wishes for Mr lutzi. :) :T
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Yes, I posted the other day. I like the red one more than the green.

    Strange I was only able to print from one device, I tried the other two laptops, but it said print limit reached.

    Let me print 2 on main pc, in the past I could use laptops too :(

    Good afternoon everyone

    Sending lots of hugs to Savingbabs

    Thank you all for my birthday wishes yesterday, it really cheered me up, the day started off bad, got a small box of roses and a very sentimental card of oh, he’s never sentimental, on the front of the card says “To my wife (we are not married) the only one that really knows me, on the inside it says thank you for loving me”, oh always goes on a bit of a downer this time of year but these past two weeks has been pretty bad, so I thought it was going to be a bit of a rough day, we arranged to go out for a late lunch/early tea and a quick drink, oh said he did not want to get caught up with the mad Friday crowd.
    We went to the club, got our first pint and he dropped down on one knee, I thought he had slipped, so I tried to pick him up, he starts growling at me to sit down and said he is trying to propose, I was in total shock, still am, it certainly was not the most romantic proposal but after 15 ½ years he finally asked me to marry him yiphee:j:j:j:j , then all our mates turned up and we had a party, what started out bad turned into a fantastic birthday. We are both feeling pretty rough today
    He said choosing and buying the ring was the most stressful thing he has ever done, problems galore he said and the reason he has been so bad lately is the fact he had to carry the ring around with him so I would not find it and that keeping it all a secret was very hard for him. It also explains his birthday card.
    Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to share our good news, here is a photo of my ring, it is not a traditional engagement ring because I cannot wear stones that stick out, I can only wear in set stone rings, hope it does not stretch it into next door

    Thanks and CONGRATULATIONS :T
