I know It's an old cliche, but it does you good to know you're having a good time.
I've been a bit down for a while, but days like this make me feel good. I now have enough food to see me through this year and onto the next where I know things can only get better. :)

Well I had an absolutely lovely evening :) I took some students out that have been working with me. they are an absolutely delightful bunch who will go far. We had amazing food, conversation and a lot of fun.
Im feeling very touched and humbled :o They clubbed together and bought me a gift. Quite a personal gift (my moaning about attention to detail has paid off :D ) I'm more :o:o because I know most of them are skint, so it means alot. I held myself back from saying 'did you use the 10% off code on that' :o :rotfl::rotfl:

I headed home early and left them to go clubbing. One of them is an overseas student and she hadn't mentioned she wasn't going home for the holidays because she can't afford it :( so she's invited for Christmas dinner.
Also DS1 friend who had to watch me eating his chocolate cake in an x- rated manner last year  is also coming for Christmas. He's either brave or hoping for a repeat performance :o:D :rotfl:
