    Thanks bubbs thankfully it's been fine today, I must remember to be careful when bending and reaching. :o

    Going to be in trouble later for buying more wine as I thought I best not lift the Bisol prosecco in from the car, it's not quite the same as just lifting it from trolley to boot. ;)

    I'd have thought this was a no-go (all for the sake of not losing a few pence lol:rotfl:):

    ASDA Smartprice Apples (500g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    74p £1.48 / Kg

    Store_1.15px.png
    89p:eek::question::)

    But it is not. The Eday Value pack at T is 550g, so that this SP one should compare vs a price at T of about 80 or 81p, therefore 74p isn't 10% cheaper. It's not the cheapest price per unit on apples in A currently, which I think is those larger packs at 2 for £3:eek:, but the 74p SP apples should be put onto an Avs T comp. to get them very slightly cheaper than 74p.

    The Eday Value ones in T ought to compare to straight 74p without price adjustment, so should be 550g for 74p.

    These are a no-go on Avs T as A and T are the same weight:

    ASDA Smartprice Pears (500g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    59p £1.18 / Kg
    Store_1.15px.png
    89p:eek::eek::eek:

    The Eday value pears should be a comparison 89p vs 59p.

    Of course none of these are what they used to be - the pack sizes seem to have got smaller and smaller each year. Fruit packs can be generally cheaper in Morrisons with bogo'f's etc., but if you are confined to A for wombles or T for T PP uses, these may be options.

    Remember, in A, it's apples only vs T and avoid pears. Pears can go on a non-vs T shop, including (except for Northern Ireland) an item for Avs Waities!

    Of course now I've realised all this, the prices in A will immediately rocket upwards and make it all a no-go:rotfl:.

    Bubbs, come and sort them out will you. Mind you, one of them has been in and out of prison as he likes to dabble with credit card fraud and supply drugs so you might end up getting sorted out!!!

    We can't even sell and run as we have tried and no one wants to live next doors to the official family from hell!

    Count yourself lucky. The tw@ts that live next door decide to start doing their DIY in the attic at 10pm at night and it goes on until midnight. The other night we had a word with them and they said it's their house and they can do as they please. What a bunch of forking tw@ts. Wish they would just all die. Does anyone have a spare gun lying about I could borrow? :mad::mad::mad:

    A tip I used when my parents had problems with next door having party's till 4am is go out at 6-7 am and put speakers next to wall with heavy metal upstairs and downstairs and have on continuous play until you get back at say lunch time:o;) it worked and didn't have to speak to them:T:T
