  • I wanted to buy my dad a camera trap for xmas but have no idea what one is best? They have badgers and other wildlife coming in their garden and I think he would like to be able to take photos of them without disturbing them? Any thoughts on something like this eliters? Or any suggestions? It's a lot of money so I don;t want to mess it up. :o

    Get one from NatureSpy
    http://shop.naturespy.org/
They are experts in camera traps and how best to use them, only sell the kit they use themselves and so know is the best and can recommend, offer after-sales support where you can get advice from one of their expert animal biologists, and run courses and workshops on how to use them.
If your budget will stretch to it, maybe get a camera trap (£100-£270) and one of the online workshops (done via Skype, £30).

Here's the kind of wildlife you might be lucky enough to capture with one of the night-time video cameras
