  • Morning - only 7 more sleeps to go!!!! :xmassmile

QUOTE=purpledonkey;67249996]Evening elite, spent last night and this morning making 72 cupcakes for various people. Went to deliver 36 for a charity event and on the way had to sharply brake as some eejit tried to overtake the car in front and ending up smashing into them. Luckily I left plenty of space in front me and avoided smashing into them, but in the process one of the boxes went flying smashing 12 of the cakes. Ended up getting delayed by 90 minutes so when I arrived it turned out I'd missed the event entirely, due in part by being given the wrong time to get there. I was a bit  at wasting time, but then thought 'it could be worse, at least I didn't smash up my car today' :)

    Good evening :)

Folks that have Ts delivery saver.......
Free next day delivery on Ts Direct orders over £10. Last orders for guaranteed Christmas delivery 5pm on the 22nd. Good for last minute gifts.

Hope everyone is well. I have no time to catch up....again.

I can't believe there's only a day and a half left of school
DS2 is being his usual challenging self at Christmas. There's so many things about it that just don't fit in with what he likes. It's blinkin hard work. He doesn't know how he can handle finishing school halfway through a class at an odd time on Friday so that will be fun!
He's also relocated every scrap of Christmas wrapping paper in the house and won't tell me where to........he's worried I will put wrapping paper on his presents which he detests! I've searched everywhere I can think of to no avail. I'm beginning to think that he might have binned it all in the bins that were emptied last Friday. He's been perfectly honest and admitted it was him but he 'can't risk telling me the whole truth' :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh and Chris from yesterday is a female and apparently I'm not the only person who's had to ask
Oh FC, that did make me laugh!!! your DS is such a character :A

Ok so my morning is not qoing so well.

After being a bit out of action since Tuesday afternoon with my back again, was only bending over to get xmas cards out of a bottom drawer when it went. :o

I could not rush out to get any glitches so took it easy I seem to be ok this morning. :T

Anyway on Tuesday there were 3 dove sets sitting on the shelf at Superdrug I popped into looking for the glitchy Nivea sets so stopped off today and amazed they were still there but they scanned £15 for the three. :(

So thought all not lost will go with my pringle APG to As and get some chocs, but I had not taken it out with me. :o

After a hunt at home really thinking I had lost it I find it along with 2 BS card from the glamour mags that are now OOD.

So wondering now whether I am safe to do a choc shop. :o

Thanks deb8z, I am so relieved it has calmed down so quickly this time. Tuesday afternoon I was in absolute agony with it and I am meant to be off to London sunday. Think once you have had a bad back it is always waiting to cause you trouble again. I am sure all those times I had to lift my mum on my own could not have helped it.

Annoying thing is I very nearly took the 3 dove sets to the till Tuesday morning as wondered if they would work the same as the Nivea. I had only found one lonely Nivea at another store that morning. Boths sets looked bloomin good buys 3 for £3. :(

Was not to be. I snoozed and losed. ;)
