I've not got an Amex card been thinking of buying one as I've just bought a home so I've lots of furniture etc to buy. I wont meet the £20k minimum household income which I know some Amex cards ask for so just trying to find the best one to get. It seems like such a minefield :rotfl:

Edit: Im also going to the USA in Jan so wouldn't mind one thats nice to any spending I use my card for over there. Going to go explore the banking thread. Wish me luck ;)

    They gave me one!

And EE turned me down on a mobile phone contract!

While we are all talking about quotes and stuff, anyone give me a rough idea for the labour prices to get a boiler fitted. I can source the boiler for less than the plumbers can (mates rates through someone that works for a boiler company) but the price they want for fitting it seems huge to me. Any rough prices anyone please?

I am afraid to say, the sky is the limit!

Itouch screens are easier to repair than Iphones, and I've repaired a few myself. Have a watch on youtube of a few videos showing how to do it to see if you feel confident yourself. Then buy a screen from amazon or ebay and away you go. It takes about 10-15 mins and saves so much money over getting done in a shop.

    Thankyou have ordered from ebay.

Comparison total (compared products only) £13.98 £11.50

Some things in shop were got for TCB or QC and were needed by tonight, but the main reason I wanted to do AvS was for the Boneless Pork. I had got one for Chrimbo last week, but it became too tempting and me and my DS ate it, lol. Looks like its comparing v normal larger pork joints at per Kg price, but the A's one is a 1kg piece. BTW, it was yummy
