Is it only me who attracts clowns on eBay? After a few people trying it on, someone earlier offered less than half rrp and then got uppity when I rejected their offer. My items are regularly selling for close to the asking price, so why would I sell for less?

I know we regularly get items at less than rrp but really, the cheek of some people :D.

    Oh, forgot to rant....................

Beefeater sent me an email yesterday offering 1000 points when i buy "any meal from any menu" between Sunday and Thursday

So i went for breakfast today and when I asked for the bonus points to be added at the point of paying I was told "Breakfast is a Premier Inn menu and not a Beefeater menu so it's not applicable" This from a manager!

We'll see what HO says about that tomorrow!!!!!

he may be wrong or right I don't know. but the email says the points will be added AFTER the promotion period.
The Bonus points will be added to your Reward Club account after the promotion period has ended and will show in your account by 9th January 2014.
so you may get them, but its good to know before hand if you have earned them.

edited, ive just looked at me beefy on line menu and the breakfasts are not on it. so he could be right. :(

find your local menu here. http://www.beefeater.co.uk/steak-restaurant-menu

What about a couple of 'they'? :D It's about critical thinking and I'm struggling to think lol. Finding it hard to describe what a person believes in without using 'they. Hoping I'm just a bit rusty and it will all start flooding back any minute.

Personally I think "they" is safe (tried typing "they is safe" and grammatically it sounded so wrong - like street language:)) , particularly if referring to multiple authors. They believed that ... The authors stated that ...
