night garden toys from BBC shop

I preordered these toys and was expecting delievery on 29th July. Now the BBC website says 14th August, and some people have been buying them in shops already!

I wanna know if anyone else has received their preorder yet please:mad:

no but i have emailed the bbc complaining. i was foolishly expecting them to arrive yesterday for my dds birthday today!

got some from mothercare instead.

The entertainer has them instore I saw them last week I really like the ninky nonk! That is very bad of the bbc shop to change the date especially when you can walk into a store and get them now!

Yes, I ordered ITNG items from BBC too hoping they will arrive in time for my DD's birthday next Sat. I saw them in my local Toymaster and I was gobsmacked. I let my DD play with the singing Iggle piggle and Oopsy Daisy and while she liked them she just wanted to see what else was in the shop. So I don't think she'll be too upset if she gets them at a later date........

its sounds silly to be cross but i am! and the bbc havnt replied.

all the people who only bought them to sell on ebay seem to have theirs but my kids who actually want to play with them havnt got them!

i suppose this is just the warm up for us ready for when they are older and we have to queue for days to get the latest games console.........lol

raaa i'm so annoyed with the bbc i just got that same email and they got a nice lol email back, its disgusting. I preorderd these over a month ago and now everyone seems to have them in the shops, you think buying from the bbc that they would have them first. i'm just totally disgusted esspesially as they waited 3 days after the release date before emailing!
I've complained and asked for compo for ds as he's been waiting for them so we shall see what they say.

My email also included the comment 'we hope to have dispatched all orders within 3 weeks!
i bet mine wont be, next thing you know we'll be getting emails saying they've run out of stock.

why sell things you dont have bbc?
if i see them in the shop i'll buy them there, i'm not waiting for the bbc. :mad:

I've just received an email from the Beeb saying that my ITNG items have been shipped. My DD just might get them for her birthday on Sat after all
