I just realised that the "vinegar" in chippies isn't vinegar at all and is non0brewed condiment.
Some people turn their nose at that as it's cheaper. but I actually like it as you get the same sour taste, without the nasty smell.
Id like to get a bottle so I can pour it into my chips at home instead of pouring it in the chippie and getting it soggy on the way back. does anyone know where I can buy some?

Ask in your chippie when you go in next, they may pick you up a bottle from their suppliers as it may be cheaper and less hassle?

If you're in London, have you tried Hoo Hing or Wing Yip?0 -
I got a few bottles from my local fish & chip shop (as a present for my friend who loves it) - ask and they should be able to give you a small bottle:hello:

Quite a lot of chippies sell it in bottles.
I'd forgotten it, many thanks for reminding me.The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0 -
I've seen it Heron in 5litre containers and also on the local market, veg stall.
I think price is £2.35.
Drivers Pickles sell it for £2.17p Online. Delivery £10 lol.0
