Trying for the third time - boy was dumb and dumber the right name!! I read one of your replys Richard that you negotiated a deal for 25p in the £ with your creditors before BR. I owe Nat West and Barclays approx £100K and wondered if you or anybody else had any experience of dealing with these banks in achieving these sort of settlement figures

Hi Dumb,
I'm more than a little merry at the moment so I won't go into too much detail because that'll confuse you and me.  I should be able to get on line tomorrow and some background will be helpful.
Are the debts business or personal?
Does the bank hold any security over assets; such as your house?
Are these your only debts?
Do you have a partner and is he/she involved?
Do you generate much in the way of disposable income per month?
I can't think of anything else at the moment but please post as much info as you can because that always ensures more meaningful responses. It's an anonymous site so anything you post will never get back to your family, friends, neighbours or customers.
Regards
Richard0
