Hi Richard I noticed on one of your replys that you managed to negotiate a deal with your creditors for 25p in the £ before going BR. I owe Nat West and Barclays approx £100K (I know I know my own fault!) and wondered if you or anybody else had any experience of dealing with these particular banks and if this sort of deal is possible on a full and final settlement?
Any help greatly appreciated

If you have managed to make minimum payments to the creditors they are unlikey to accept offers of full and final settlement. One thing ive seen a lot of from people speaking aboutthis situation is the creditors will make sure your credit file is is damaged before even considering the settlement.
Take a look at http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=24_full_and_final_settlement_offers for more information.
Feel free to post more details of your situation and a full SOA as outlined in the first time posters thread and we may be able to help you.
