There was a story in the news last year that Liverpool Council were selling houses for £1, Problem for anyone rushing out to buy one, they were derilict. Well it's in the paper today that the first house is almost ready to move into.
Not bad for £1. Although you need to add £30k to that for repairs, but paying that for a 4 bed house, you can't go wrong.
There must be thousands of houses all over the Country. Isn't it better to give then away for buttons than to leave them to rot ?

Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Whereas in Liverpool people had to fund their own renovation on unmortgageable properties. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
