Income from online writing sites?

I have just been trying for PPH, got sent loads of emails about how my profile was not right, first profile pic wasn't good enough, then apparently had my personal details somewhere, went to remove my phone number, then can't move on...then sent another email about not being accepted yet as personal info on there, removed details, then got one today saying not been accepted!!!!!

There are places that will work out for you. Proper commercial rates are nowhere near what you are finding. The big players are picky about who they work with but they pay extremely well. I am sure as a journalist, you have a network of contacts that you can work for inroads.

I know for example that you can submit pitches to BBC online easily enough. I am sure other media outlets are the same. I suspect the BBC will snap your hand off if its something good.

Persistence is the key.

That's how I started out and it worked for me (although I do not write for the Beeb)
