I ordered a 30gb on the 27th july and the parcel was "lost in transit" i have spoken to them every day to try to find out what they are going to do about it, :wall: finally yesterday they said that they would be sending out a brand new 30gb video i pod, as compensation for the refurbished one getting lost.


I won't hold my breath :rolleyes2 until it arrives!!

I had no idea this company were so bad to deal with!! :mad:

UPDATE

I received an email on friday morning to say that they were processing my new order, so I called to get a parcel number for tracking, to be told that the order hadn't progressed that far but that if I received another email later on friday afternoon then that would mean that the parcel was ready to leave the depot (for delivery on monday with DHL) and i would be able to get a consignment number if I called on saturday morning.... so I called... and nope no parcel number, the guy I spoke with was rude, aggressive and utterly useless. All he kept repeating to me was that they had 3 -5 working days to deliver the goods AFTER the order appears on the system, he said not to expect delivery before thursday of next week!!

I actually think they want me to say " STUFF IT!" so that they don't have to honor the lost product at the lower price, but after waiting this long I am in this for the long haul :mad: :mad: :mad:

You might get one of the two I returned last week for a full refund as they were in such a poor condition even for Grade B items. The couple I received from Currys were perfect still in factory sealed cellophane.

My order was for a 30GB ipod video for £119, the cheapest I have seen these anywhere else was £160. so a significant saving of £40!

I wouldnt normally even look at "reconditioned or refurbished", especially if I was only saving £10

Moneysaver ...YES, stupid ...NO!

Sorry if you'd felt that I was implying stupidity here. You can get a brand new one from Play for £144 delivered (with quidco). Can't really understand this particular moneysaver logic though when you get something that would cause so much headache and probably die on you in few weeks when you would have to go through the hassle of getting it sorted.
