I am in the process of taking out a loan to part cover the costs of a new vehicle. Being a regular shopper at Saino's I thought I would give them a try for a loan. The advertised rate of 3.9% went completely out of the window at the end of the application, instead I was being offered 10.9%. I am of upstanding credit…

Yep - sometimes even cheaper to borrow £7.5k than £7k!
